Family Pictures!

Back in August we went to Utah for a little family reunion with the McSpadden side of the family, and while we were there we got our family pictures taken. I was a little nervous of how Heath would do with getting his picture taken because at home it is almost impossible to take his picture, but with everyone trying to get him to smile and giving him so much attention he did awesome! I couldnt have been happier with how all the pictures turned out! Here is my cute little family! :)
The wind was blowing like crazy but I think it turned out pretty well :)

Like father like son! Heath absolutely loves Ryan, every day when Ryan walks in the door from work Heath gets this huge smile on his face and gets sooo excited to see him! I also love how much Heath looks like his daddy, they are so alike in so many ways!
I love this picture of Heath and I, it turned out perfect! Heath is definitely a momma's boy and I love that so much! Now that he can crawl and is getting close to walking he doesnt want to be held very much, but every now and then when he is tired and ready for a nap he loves to be held and loved on. At bed time he is definitely my cuddle bug! :)
I love this picture of Ryan and I! I am such a lucky girl to have him in my life, he is the best husband and father that I could ever ask for and is my best friend in every way! We have so much fun together and I look forward to spending each day with him!
My little munchkin! :) Heath is such a fun little boy and I love these pictures because they show his cute little personality! He is the most laid back content little guy and I am so happy for that! I hope all my kids are as easy going as he is or I dont know how I will handle it haha. He is crawling all over getting into everything and just starting to try and walk, I love watching him grow and experience new things every day, he definitely keeps me on my toes! We love him and all the happiness he brings to our family!

I Love Camping! :)

This last weekend we went up to Island Park and camped with the Cherry family over labor day, It was such a fun weekend and we are so blessed to have such an awesome family! We got there Friday evening and came back on Monday, so we had lots of time to just play and relax with everyone over the three day weekend. It was really nice to get away from everything and go up in the mountains surrounded by nothing but trees. We stayed at a place right on the lake and had so much fun boating, sitting around the campfire eating some awesome dinners, Ryan's mom J'lene is an amazing cook and made sure nobody went hungry! We spent lots of time playing card games like Wacky 6 and Rage, Wacky 6 is now my favorite games...even though I pretty much suck and AnnMarie killed us all haha.   Ryan and I learned how to wake board which was an extremely long learning process for me :) (thanks Mitch and Justin for your patience haha) but I eventually got the feel for it and was able to figure it out! Ryan popped right up his first time and did awesome with it. He is just so naturally good at sports it amazes me! He did awesome on the wake board and rocked the knee board... right before he got rocked by the tube haha he is a hard core boater :) needless to say we were both extremely sore the next few days but it was well worth it! We were gone over Saturday evening which was a huge sacrifice for all the guys to make since that was the same night as the first BSU game....OH NO!!! haha no worries...we got the radio broadcast and were able to listen to it from one of the truck radios GO BRONCOS! Heath did amazing for only his 2nd time camping. It got pretty cold at night, but it was really nice that Ryan's parents have a camping trailer that we were able to sleep in and keep warm, especially with an 8 month old baby! Nights were a little rough for Heath but as long as he was kept warm with a full tummy he was all good :) We had such a fun weekend with everyone and are not quite ready for summer to end yet! Thank Cherry Family for such an amazing weekend!

Happy Couple :)

TEETH!!!

We have teeth! :) haha Heath finally had his first two teeth break through over the weekend, and life has gotten so much better!!! He has been miserable the past few weeks, chewing on everything in sight and slobbering all over everything. His nose has been running like crazy and has been running a slight fever for a long time now! I have kept him on meds for the pain and bought every freezer toy possible to help him feel better but once those first two teeth finally came through he has been so much happier, it was almost instant relief for him. He has been sleeping through the night and has eaten all his food during the day, so you can imagine how much happier he has been with the extra few hours of sleep, not to mention how much happier I have been :) (I am not a very nice person with no sleep! haha) I know he still has a long way to go until all his teeth are in, but im hoping those first two teeth are the worst... a mom can only hope! :)

ROAD TRIP!

This last week I decided to go to Boise to see my family. (I havent been home since april so I was getting a little homesick :))  Ryan had to work so he stayed in Rexburg and I took Heath with me. I was a little nervous that I was driving that far without Ryan and since heath hates his carseat I didnt want to be pulled over most of the time, or listen to him cry until I stopped. I made sure to feed him a bottle right before we left, and I didnt leave until it was around the time he takes a nap. Heath sleeps really good in the car while we are driving but as soon as we stop he will wake up so I made sure to fill up and get everything I need before we get on the road.Well that all worked wonders because he slept until Mountain Home! He was such a little champ! I was so proud of him and so glad that I didn't have to stop! He was so glad to be out of his carseat by the time we actually got there but he did so great! This last week was just a reminder of how much I LOVE being a mom! My mom, sisters, and I took all the kids to Roaring Springs (a waterpark in Boise) to play for one of the days we were there. Heath absolutely loves water and was splashing and kicking all over the kiddie pool :) It was so much fun to watch him have such a blast splashing and laughing at all the kids playing around him. He loved it! Later that week I was noticing heath's hair was getting pretty long and super curly (takes after his daddy :)) so my mom gave him his first hair cut! :) he was a little skeptical of the scissors and kept looking at me for reassurance but he held really still and was so good! I love watching him experience new things while at the same time keeping one eye on me to make sure he is ok. He had a blast playing with his cousins and all those new toys that grandma has at her house! On Friday morning we got up and headed back for Rexburg. I tried to follow the same schedule that I did on the way here and it worked again, he slept until Idaho Falls! :) He is definitely a road trip baby! I love my little guy! :) It was so much fun to be in Boise but it is always great to be back home! Heath was so happy to see his daddy again and I definitely have come to realize how much Ryan does to help me with heath and everything else while we are out of town! I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband in my life! Thanks family for such a fun and exciting week!

*~HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!~*

We had an awesome 4th of July! My family came in town on friday night and we all stayed in pocatello at my uncles house. It's been a while since we'v seen everyone so it was really fun! My mom was meeting some of her friends for luch in rexburg before her class reunion, so kyli and I went back to rexburg with her while all the guys went golfing. Kyli and I took Heath to the new waterpark in Reburg (Rexburg Rapids). That was his first time swimming so I was a little nervous if he was going to like it but he absolutely loved it! he was splashing and kicking his feet, it was a blast to see him having so much fun! After the waterpark we met ryan for dinner while my parents were at my mom's class reunion and then we all met back at the house and played games till late that night. On Sunday we met my aunt and uncle and grandma and grandpa at some caves in Idaho Falls. I had no Idea we even had caves in Idaho Falls so that was really fun to walk through and see. After that we went to the park for lunch. I gave Heath a piece of watermelon and he loved it! I had to take it a few times to get the chunks out of his mouth so he wouldnt choke, haha he didnt like me taking it very much :) It was so fun to watch him go to town on that watermelon! We stayed in Pocatello again that night and then got up on Monday and played games all day at my uncle's house. It was so much fun to see everyone and catch up again. That night we met Ryan's family in Ashton and played games until it got dark and then we drove out to the high school and watched the fireworks. I was a little nervous that they would scare Heath but he just stared at them :) he loved it! It was a great weekend to remember how blessed we are to have such wonderful families and how thankful we are to live in a free country! I am so thankful for the life that I have and I for the family that we are blessed with!  This is going to be a great summer!

WE HAVE A BLOG!

Hello Everyone!
WE FINALLY HAVE A BLOG! Im sure we are the last people on the face of the earth to get a one but here it is! :) Well to start Ryan and I have had a crazy two years! In April 2009 I hit the jack pot when I met my awesome hubby while we were both attending BYU-Idaho. We met when we were both put into the same FHE group :) (yes the system does work haha) we started dating in June and everything went fast from there! we were engaged on October 17th and four months later were married in the Boise Idaho Temple on February 13th, 2010. Three short months later I found out I was pregnant and on January 29th, 2011 we welcomed our newest edition to the family, Heath Allen Cherry! haha so you see how crazy our lives have been! Heath is so much fun to play with and has been the happiest baby since day 1! he is such a cool kid and I am so blessed to have him in my life! He is his daddy's twin in every way shape and form and I am so glad! I love my boys! Ryan is such a great dad and husband and it has been so fun to go through this part of our lives together!! These past two years have been insane but have been the best two years of my life and I look forward to many more crazy years ahead of us!
